Crunches, Using an Exercise Ball

Crunches are used to keep your stomach slim. Crunches are done in many different ways but the best way to do them is with an exercise ball. While sitting on the ball, keep your feet flat to the ground. Keep your torso and thighs parallel to the floor as you lie backwards. Now cross your arms over your chest, with your tucking into the chest at the same time.   Lift your torso to a 45 degree angle, while tightening your abs. Breathe out while you contract. If you want your side muscles worked, put your legs closer together, but if not, then just keep them spread. When you loosen the contraction, breathe in.

Work Your Abs with the Reverse Crunch

To do this other great exercise, lie on your back and stretch your arms out. Your ankles should then be crossed and lifted to a ninety degree angle. Your back should stay flat to the ground for the most pull in your stomach. Your hips may rotate slightly as your legs are lifted to point towards the ceiling. Several reps can be done as you see fit.
 
Cycling

Lay down with your lower back kept flat on the ground. A forty-five degree angle is then made as you lift your knees and peddle. While doing this, keep your hands beside your head.     In the cycle motion, touch the right knee to the left elbow. Repeat this on the opposite side. Make sure you stay aware of your breathing, so you don’t run out of breath.

Keeping your abs in good condition will be the result of doing these workouts daily. Refrain from doing any of these exercises if they feel uncomfortable and make sure to see a doctor. Do not strain yourself by overdoing any exercise. Each day you will continue to progress and be able to do more reps with less effort. You will only receive great results if you do what is necessary.
